CAÑAS, the lone Albiceleste survivor in Paris

Guillermo CAÑAS played a brilliant and very intense game against compatriot Juan MONACO (6-0, 6-4, 6-2) and is now in Roland Garros quarterfinals, where he will face Nikolay DAVYDENKO after the Russian defeated David NALBANDIAN in four sets by a score of 6-3, 7-6, 3-6, 7-6.

The winner of CAÑAS v DAVYDENKO will be "awarded" with the "benefit" of facing Roger FEDERER in the semis. But CAÑAS will surely feel confident if that was to happen since he's having a positive 2007 against the World's number one.
