I must confess that I was quite confident on Guillermo CAÑAS progressing further in Roland Garros. But Nikolay DAVYDENKO proved to be too strong today and defeated the only Argentine that was left in the tournament in straight sets: 7-5, 6-4, 6-4.
We were left without what could have been a great semifinal match between CAÑAS and FEDERER and now we're going to have to wait until next year to see if an Albiceleste can take home the French Open.
