Carlitos, Cruz & Much More

First and foremost I would like to apologize for not being able to post anything during the weekend. But I must say it was all worth it as plenty of things happen. There were goals and couple of misfortune things that happen and other great news.

English Premier League

Perhaps maybe he was right about the toughness of playing in an Albiceleste jersey compare when he is playing for the Red Devils.
Carlos TEVEZ netted a double to ease United home and could have had a hat trick if RONALDO had not ignored his pleas and taken the spot-kick himself after being flattened by Tyrone MEARS.
The
first was a blasting home after a delicate free kick from RONALDO had cause mayhem in the Derby penalty area. The second was a typical merciless TEVEZ shot after a pass from Wes BROWN.

'Carlos TEVEZ is making a great contribution this season,' said Alex FERGUSON.

'Cristiano is our regular penalty-taker so I can understand why he wanted to take it but it would have been great for Carlos if he had scored a hat-trick.'

Italian Serie A
Another win and another goal from Julio CRUZ as Inter Milan trashed Torino 4-0. The other goals were scored by Zlatan IBRAHIMOVIC, Luis JIMENEZ & Ivan CORDOBRA in a side that also had Nicolas BURDISSO, Javier ZANETTI & Esteban CAMBIASSO in the starting line up.

It’s been a while since we heard of his name but this weekend Luciano FIGUEROA was on the score sheet for Genoa. He scored the a consolation goal in 89th minute in their 3-1 defeat to Siena.

Spanish Primera Liga

The match between Real Zaragoza and Espanyol ended in a 3-3 draw. Diego MILITO drew first blood for the home team and by the time Pablo ZABALETA scored for Espanyol it was 3-1 in favour of the Catalans side. Two goals from Ricardo OLIVERA in the last four minutes tied the score.

Unexpectedly Aldo DUSCHER was on the score sheet for Racing Santander in their 3-1 over Real Mallorca.

As I’ve mentioned about some misfortune, well that happen in the match between Atlético Madrid and Getafe. Both Kun AGUERO and Pato ABBONDANZIERI got their names for all the wrong reasons as both were sent off.

Other News

Away from football this time, the Federation of International Hockey (FIH) has announced that Luciana AYMAR as the 2007 FIH Women Player Of The Year. She has now won this award for the record of four times (2001, 2004, 2005 and now 2007).

Some NBA News...

Toronto Raptors 93 Houston Rockets 80

The Raptors celebrate home win with the return of Chris BOSH to the line up after missing the last few games through injury.

Carlos DELFINO did produce a reasonable performance with 12 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists & a steal.

Luis SCOLA was struggling this time for the Rocket, probably with some foul troubles. In the end he only manages 2 points, 5 rebounds & 3 assists.

Detroit Pistons 104 Charlotte Bobcats 85

A sad note as Walter HERRMANN was nowhere to be seen.

This is why I do not like Cristano. I watched the ManUnited game this week and saw Ronaldo just snub Tevez to take the PK. I would of said give it to Tevez, the game is over and let him get his hat trick. But Ronaldo with his ego its a bit too much. La Liga stuff, Aguero got a red card, diving and a handball. But Kudos to them to be 2nd in La Liga, like I said he will soon make the ATL Madrid fans soon forget about the hometown kid Torres.!

Some NBA News

Philidelphia 76ers 100 Houston Rockets 88

It seems like Rockets coach Rick ADELMAN doesn't seems to know how to use a power forward to effectiveness.

Luis SCOLA only had less than a 10 minutes of play and posted 4points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist & 2 steals.
