U17 World Cup : Argentina vs. Nigeria (Match Preview)

We’re just hours away again for another exciting encounter against Nigeria, team whom I regards as our distance relation from Africa. After all we have played against them almost in every level, from the senior World Cup to this level.

The Match

Having already qualified through the round 16, Argentina will take on Nigeria in their last group game to determined who will finish on top. So certainly there is all to play for as both teams are highly motivated to reach that objective.

A draw will be the most diplomatic result for both teams but certainly the host nation will be eager to leap frog us in the group standing. Therefore it will be business as usual for our boys.

Starting Line Up

Based on line up which was announced by Jose Luis BROWN from the AFA’s website, it seems he has decided to rest some of his first choice. Probably keeping them available in the next round freshly and free from suspension.

Damian MARTINEZ; Frederick RASMUSSEN - Leandro GONZALEZ - Leandro MARIN; Esteban ORFANO - Jorge BALBUENA - Facundo QUIGNON - Gonzalo OLID APAZA - Nello SOSA; Eduardo ROTONDI

Here is a quoted from BROWN, courtesy of FIFA.com

"All the players here are making the same effort, go through the same training sessions and listen to the same talks. Because of that I'll try to give playing time to all of them, especially if certain starters are tired."
