Super Four draw sorted

Argentina have finalised the draw for the Super Four tournament and invited Mexico, Canada and Uruguay to take part in the warm-up competition ahead of the FIBA Americas Championship. The quadrangular friendly tournament will be played in Argentina, with the venues yet to be confirmed, although Buenos Aires and Rosario are widely expected to host the competition. The last Super Four saw Argentina win the title as they prepared for the FIBA World Championship, in which they eventually finished fourth. Argentina defeated Brazil 103-97 in the final game, after hammering Venezuela 94-55 in the opener.

This year's FIBA Americas Championship in Las Vegas is crucial, handing two direct berths to the Olympic Games in Beijing next year. Uruguay and Mexico are in Group A of the FIBA Americas Championship along with Sergio Hernandez's Argentinians, Panama and Puerto Rico.

Canada, meanwhile, have been drawn in Group B alongside the United States, Brazil, Venezuela and the US Virgin Islands.
