Champions League Matchday 4 - Tuesday Preview

First of all, a big thanks from Mundo to all our readers for the support and prayers for Fernando CACERES. We will keep you posted on any development on this sad incident. Back to the forefront of European premier club competition. Lots of exciting matches up ahead: -

FC Bayern Munchen vs. FC Girondins de Bordeaux
Martin DEMICHELIS, Jose Ernesto SOSA, Fernando CAVENAGHI and Diego PLACENTE

Besiktas Istanbul vs. Vfl Wolfsburg
Matias DELGADO

AC Milan vs. Real Madrid
Gonzalo HIGUAIN and Fernando GAGO

Olympique de Marseille vs. FC Zurich
Lucho GONZALEZ (out of this one because of injury) and Gabriel HEINZE

APOEL FC vs. FC Porto
Fernando BELLUSCHI, Diego VALERI, Mariano GONZALEZ (out - suspended), Ernesto FARIAS, Tomas COSTA and Sebastian PREDIGUER

Atletico Madrid vs. Chelsea
Kun AGUERO and Maxi RODRIGUEZ

The biggest match of the night has to be at the San Siro between two Euro giants. Provided if he starts or play, Real Madrid will be banking on Gonzalo HIGUAIN for the goals, just as much they got from him during the weekend.

All eyes will also be on Kun as in recent weeks rumours has it that he could be in his way to join the Blues in the near future. But for now, he and Maxi will be hoping to get something positive out of this game in order to keep their qualification to the next stage alive.

Micho and SOSA of Bayern will be hoping to get a win at home against CAVENAGHI’s Bordeaux to keep their qualification alive as well. By the way, could we expect another classy strike from Freddy HEINZE?

Hi John-just an update-I read earlier in the week that Jose Sosa has been returned by Bayern Munich on loan to Estudiantes de la Plata. Probably a good move for him, with more playing time.

Another note from Buenos Aires-Ariel Ortega has taken leave from River Plate due to personal reasons, so I would guess he won't be called by Diego for any friendlies.

Just to kind of update as things go, both AGUERO and MAXI are on the bench for Atletico.

DEMICHELIS starts for Bayern(his first start since coming back from injury) and HIGUAIN gets the start for Madrid while GAGO is on the bench.

And Johnny is correct, SOSA has returned back to Argentina.
