Under-17 World Cup 2007 – Argentina vs. Costa Rica (Match Preview)

Argentina will take on the Ticos in their second round encounter for a place in the quarter-finals. Despite having a dreadful start to their campaign after a draw against Syria, Los Pibitos went on to score a convincing 4-1 victory over Honduras before almost piping Spain for the top spot in Group C.

Miguel TOJO young boys will need to improve further in this stage against unpredictable Costa Ricans. This will be fourth meeting between these two sides at this level. I’m happy at least history is our side because in all meeting we have won further positive note to this is the fact that we have yet to concede a goal in all those meetings.

The only setback for TOJO towards the build up to this game is that he will have to do without Alexis MACHUCA, who is serving a one-match suspension. His replacement for the match will be Gaston SAURO.

The match will be played at the Goyang Stadium on the 30th of August, 17:00 (local time)

VAMOS PIBITOS!!!
