Tennis US Open - Bad Day For Albiceleste

Not a good day it was for our Albiceleste Army in the first day of the second round fixture. It was a further Jose ACASUSO. Playing against birthday boy and local favourite Andy RODDICK, El Chucho had the better start when he took the first set 6-4. However A-Rod took the next two sets 6-1 , 6-2 but at the end of the third set, ACASUSO retired from the game with a left knee injury.
But the bad news did not just end there. Guillerme CANAS, probably our best player at the moment suffered a shocking defeat at the hands of Korean LEE Hyung-Taik 5-7, 5-7 & 3-6.
The rest of the second round fixtures will be played today. The one that to look forward without a doubt will be Agustin CALLERI against Lleyton HEWITT.
