2007 FIBA Americas – Business As Usual

Argentina continues from where it left off from the first stage by defeating Venezuela 98-63 in their first match in the second stage. Despite being forced to play in overtime a day earlier by Panama, the Tall Albiceleste showed no sign of fatigue and were dominating throughout the match.

It was another sensational performance from Roman GONZALEZ as he was the best performer with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block shot. With some of the big names being absent, GONZALEZ whom also plays under Sergio HERNANDEZ at his club Penarol, has been one of the revelation in this tournament.

Carlos DELFINO is also relishing this moment as he capped another superb performance by notching 19 points, game high 11 rebounds and 3 assists.
Tomorrow, Argentina will take on Canada and the Cannucks should not be taken lightly having already push Brazil until the very end. Could possible be a nerve wrecking encounter.
