NBA News - Manu's All Star Aftermath

Detroit Pistons 85 Orlando Magic 103

This is an extremely rare situation that took place at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The Pistons getting the smack in front of their own back yard.

However on a lesser note, Walter HERRMANN posted 5 points & 3 rebounds to his credit.

Cleveland Cavaliers 85 Houston Rockets 93

These days it looks like that Luis SCOLA as sealed his place as the starting power forward for good.

Fresh from coming back after his involvement in the All-Star weekend in New Orleans, he was among the four starters to post double-digit performance. He had 15 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal & 1 block shot.

San Antonio Spurs 85 Charlotte Bobcats 65

Spurs returned home after almost three weeks, which included a 9 road trip games. For one particular man in this team, he showed that Las Vegas was a better trip than New Orleans.

Clearly there is no sign where Manu GINOBILI is going to slow down as tonight he was still in good form (must have made a lot money in Sin City!!!)

He finished off with a team high of 18 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists & 1 block shot. The only setback for him was the 6 turnovers that he had committed.

Fabricio OBERTO also showed no slowing down of form as he posted 4 points, 8 rebounds & 1 assist.

New Jersey Nets 110 Chicago Bulls 102

It was a dawn of a new era for every one at New Jersey with the departure of Jason KIDD to the Dallas Mavericks. After night results, its easy to say that it is going to be long hard road from now until the last day of the regular season.

Andres “Chapu” NOCIONI was a starter, posted 11 points and team high 9 rebounds.

The Bulls also paid tribute to the five victims of the shooting on the Northern Illinois campus by wearing warm-up shirts that reads “NIU Huskies”. They plan to do the same on their next fixture against the Denver Nuggets at home on Friday.

Toronto Raptors 127 Orlando Magic 110

Across the Atlantic Ocean, Raptors owner must be in cloud nine after that awesome victory by Liverpool over Inter in the Champions League. It was pretty much the same scenario.

Carlos DELFINO lived up to his tag as the Raptors sixth man by posting 23 points, 3 rebounds & 5 assists.

Jason Kidd is back to the Dallas Mavericks, where he once belonged. With the Mavericks' new lineup, they'll surely will be a tough contender in the West.

Scola's been great during the Rocket's winning streak. Having him as a starter gives the Rockets that extra kick that's resulting in more wins.
