Who is Emanuel Villa?

Now a lot of news has been published in perhaps every daily in the world about this player. As of now, nothing much that we’ve heard about him before this. Though the January transfer is still in the early stage, so far this has been the most exciting transfer to date.


Derby County’s manager Paul JEWELL is pretty much excited about this signing, striker Emanuel VILLA.

Castroman signs with Boca

Boca Juniors are already rebuilding for the new season, and their latest acquisition Lucas CASTROMAN explained to the press that moving to Argentina's most popular club was a dream come true.

"Today I am at the team where I always dreamed to be as a youngster,"affirmed ex-Lazio player, who on Tuesday commenced training with his new club at Casa Amarilla, La Boca, Buenos Aires.

CASTROMAN was signed from Club America, Mexico.

Volley Boys failed on Olympics birth

The national men’s volleyball team failed to book an automatic birth for the 2008 Beijing Olympics after losing to Venezuela 25-22, 22-25, 23-25 & 16-25.

Argentina's volleyball squad has participated in the last six Olympics and its best finish was the bronze medal in South Korea in 1988. Argentina can still reach the Beijing Games, depending on the outcome of a qualifying tournament to be held in the next two months in Portugal.

Heinze out for five weeks
