Mundo Albiceleste's podcast - Going to Moscow
Another edition of Mundo Albiceleste's podcast is ready for you to enjoy!
This time, we are joined by our friend and colleague Joel RICHARDS, who discusses the players that Diego MARADONA will be taking with him to Moscow to face Guus HIDDINK's Russia and also those who the greatest player of all time has left out.
We reflect on the change of venue and the move to Rosario to face Brazil and we touch on a few aspects about that upcoming all-important derby between Argentina and they boys in yellow and green.
As I wrote in a previous post, the news about Juan Pablo SORIN's retirement broke out right after we recorded this pod and that's the reason why there's no mention on that matter.
If you want, you can simply click the audio player above or right-click on the following link and save it as an MP3 file or listen to it in your computer: download.
Enjoy! And don't forget to send us your views to argentina.correspondent@gmail.com or right here in the comments' box.

Quality as always Seba! It appears Blackburn have signed Di Santo on loan for the season from Chelsea. I like the move.
Enjoyed the podcast, I do worry about the game vs Brasil. I will be shocked if we win 3-0 or lose 3-0(Well maybe not 3-0), besides the olympics we have not beaten Brasil in about 4 years, so sweet revenge should be nice if we can manage to do it.
I also read Franco Di Santo is leaving Chelsea on loan which is good news for him and for his fans.
Another starlet to keep your eye which I have posted about in the past, German Pacheco seems to to have made the ATL Madrid senior side. I hope we will see him get some game. The people in Madrid have been raving about him and Aguero seems to praise him as well. Here is a video for the some of you who are familar with him.

Jack!
One more thing to add, it appears that Barcelona are chasing Angel Di Maria. Not sure if this will be a good move for him.
Jack!
Lucho Gonzalez hurt in a friendly and left the pitch with his shoulder in a sling. Luck to Lucho.
HIDDINK names 20 players for the Argentina friendly match:
Goalkeepers:
Igor AKINFEYEV(CSKA Moscow), Vladimir GABULOV (Dynamo Moscow)
Defenders:
Alexei BEREZUTSKY (CSKA Moscow), Vasily BEREZUTSKY (CSKA Moscow), Sergei IGNASHEVICH (CSKA Moscow), Denis KOLODIN (Dynamo Moscow), Yury ZHIRKOV (Chelsea), Renat YANBAYEV (Lokomotiv Moscow), Alexander ANYUKOV (Zenit).
Midfielders:
Yevgeny ALDONIN (CSKA Moscow), Alan DZAGOYEV (CSKA Moscow), Vladimir BYSTROV (Spartak Moscow), Igor DENISOV (Zenit), Konstantin ZYRYANOV (Zenit), Igor SEMSHOV (Zenit), Sergei SEMAK (Kazan).
Forwards:
Andrei ARSHAVIN (Arsenal), Alexander KERZHAKOV (Dynamo Moscow), Roman PAVLYUCHENKO (Tottenham Hotspur), Pavel POGREBNYAK (Zenit).
So...ARSHAVIN, PAVLYUCHENKO, Chelsea's recent signing ZHIRKOV...a full-strenght Russia to be against us in Moscow.
Inter beat Monaco 1-0 with a goal from Diego "I'm the most underrated Argentine striker around" MILITO.
It was a quality goal. He seems to be cutting a lot more in the box to get away from defenders. But hey knowing Diego, he will start Kun and Messi vs Brasil and bring in Tevez to replace Kun and give Milito about 10min of action.
Jack!
A great goal indeed and great observation from you. He did cut before finishing in his first three goals for Inter (2 vs. AC Milan and the one against Monaco). He seems to be one of the best "cutters" in the game and that was exactly what I was thinking when I watched the goal.
I didn't want to create a post just to show the video of MILITO's goal because it was a friendly and because I don't want to annoy everyone with my case for MILITO to start for Argentina.
For those who want to watch that goal:
http://vodpod.com/watch/1981421-milito-v-monaco
And speaking of your speculation for our match vs. Brazil...Diego hinted that he won't use the three midgets up front and he'll play with only two.
My bet is he'll use MESSI and TEVEZ (like he did in Ecuador).
AGÜERO will be his first favoured option if he makes a substitution and MILITO will again be condemned to a role of playing 4 or 5 minutes when we're desperate chasing the game or something like that.
I don't see TEVEZ and AGÜERO both waiting on the bench. Nah. That won't happen. That's just MILITO's luck, isn't it?
