Since leaving Banfield in 1995, El Pupi has won 3 Scudetto's, 2 Copa Italia, 3 Super Copa Italia and one UEFA Cup in his 13 years in Italy. However the honours have always eluded him in an Argentina's jersey. Who knows, 2010 might just be the year for him.
If there was one highlight in his career that I would choose to remember the most, it must that left footed strike against England in France'98.
I came across this interesting article from Goal.com about our captain marvel. I really do want all of you to read it and hopefully you might enjoy it as much as I did. Perhaps we can have our own discussion right here about this living legend.

En Argentina, el Pupi es una living legend. En Brasil, se puede caminar todo un día sin encontrar uno que diga cosas buenas sobre Cafu. ¿Vos, que viviste allá tambien, tenés una respuesta para eso?
Abraços!
