Two new fixtures have been line-up for Argentina. The first one against Costa Rica in Cordoba, Argentina on January 26. The second against 1998 group stage rivals, Jamaica, on February 10 in Mar Del Plata. The big question is whether the list will only consist of domestic based players or not.
Usually, if the fixtures are announced and on the FIFA.com website, than the clubs must release their players. However, seeing as how both matches are being played in Argentina and not in Europe, I doubt MARADONA will call-up European based players. That's my personnal guess. Here are our next 3 matches:

ReplyDeleteI would assume that both matches will only have domestic based players on the squad. Mainly because the games will be held in Argenitna and our opponents are weak. I doubt the European clubs will release their players and have them fly all the way to Argentina for friendlies against Costa Rica and Jamaica.

ReplyDeleteIt's a perfect opportunity to get the world cup squad together. They need as much playing time as possible before June 11th. It's also a great chance to work out any bugs and to try different formations/stratagies.
