LAVEZZI does a MARADONA and sinks Juventus

Not that he scored the greatest of goals or that the images will travel the world on YouTube raising eyebrows and making people jump.

I'm saying "LAVEZZI does a MARADONA" because playing for Napoli, he scored against Juventus and gave the passionated side from the poor South, a massive 2-1 win over the successful giant from the rich North.

It started badly for Napoli as AMAURI put Juventus ahead at the noisy San Paolo stadium in the second half.

Then LAVEZZI broke free from the right and sent a perfect cross for Czech Marek HAMSIK to equalise on 64 minutes, but POCHO saved the best for the final moments.

With only 10 minutes to go, HAMSIK played the ball long to try to find Argentine German DENIS. The Croatian Juventus defender, Dario KNEZEVIC clearance fell right to LAVEZZI who faced the goalkeeper and sent him the wrong way to score the winner and take Napoli to the top of Serie A standings for the first time in the last 16 years.

Just like Diego did in the 80s, LAVEZZI helps Napoli to defeat Juventus and continues to raise his hero status at the San Paolo.
