Now blow those candles and make three wishes

Happy birthday Lionel MESSI!

That's Mundo Albiceleste's wish. May all your wishes come true, amigo! Especially THAT one.

As you can see, Lionel, our road to the ultimate prize has just gotten a little tougher, but keep doing what you're doing and your goals will eventually come.

Vamos Pulga!

Happy birthday Lio...Our road is the same as last time except we are the better side....Mexico, and then probably Germany but they will be depleted after having to fight England for what I am almost certain will go to penalty kicks. I saw both teams play today and neither was on form. We will kick both their asses if our nerves don't beat us first.

  21. Italy is fucked up. Turns out Brazil still get all the possible luckiness. Swiss for the round of 16, Holland for the quarter-final and Uruguay/S.Korea/USA for the semi...

  22. France and Italy bounced. It's a new world order for sure.

yes, looks like brazil and holland will fight out for the final. our side of the draw is harder, but we must go all the way.

how can argentina fight for final if holland and brazil are there MAKE SENSE DUDE!!!!

we are winning this thing even brazils luck and fifa backing wont stop us winning it

the only reason brazil getrting the nod is there record they will be exposed for sure they are not that good and kaka etc look shaky as hell there there for the taking

argentina just need to keep ticking and ignore fifas attempts to out them ignore the biased refs and just score and win we shall be fine

brazil got a lucky root to final so what TYPICAL BRAZIL there always getting it lets be TRUE champions and beat whoever stands before us its that simple

messi golden ball higuain golden boot and tevez to be a superstar during nock out stages

    thats what will happen

    Anonymous,

i meant that brazil and holland will decide in the 1/4 who one of them will lose against us in the final. i didn't say brazil and holland will play the final, i never said that.

if brazil not loses against portuga, brazil and holland play in 1/4. and if spain gets not second in their group, these two teams are clearly the strongest in their side of the draw.

Brazil will win their group and have to play either Spain or Chile in the next round. QF will be Holland.Brazil is not that dumb to lose on purpose so that they can rely on Chile to holding them off. Spain need to go and win, if they do not and a Swiss win, they are out.So Brazil will play it safe and then have to see what happens with the Spaniards.

  33. Anonymous12:53 pm

chile could do a number on ether of them there playing 3-3-1-3 very well just lack star players

    ReplyDelete
  34. Anonymous2:06 pm

If Chile loses 1-0 and Switzerland only wins 1-0... then Chile goes through... anything worse... and it is Switzerland and Spain.

I hope we get Germany and not England. I hate the English media, if they win they will laugh about it for years and if they lose they will moan and groan about it for years. Anyway they are going to write 100 books about it before and after the game, and all their stupid supporters absorb everything as biblical truth.

I just hope Germany shoots them down before they open their big mouths against us.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Allan Ng6:36 pm

I hope we get Germany instead of fucking England. Their media has the biggest mouth in the world and they never shut up everytime they play us, win, draw or lose and all their stupid supporters buy all of it.

    Seba,

Do you think Maradona will leave Demichelis out and partner Burdisso with Samuel for the second round? I am sure Heinze will return at left back, though I hope he at least chooses Otamendi instead of Jonas.

How are the Mexican wingers? Are they good enough to hurt us down our flanks? Who are their key players? I think Mexico is going to play a similar game to what they played in 2006 - a pressing game designed to disrupt our rhythm and passing game.

Fortunate for uruguai/south korea/ghana/usa. They earn one spot in semis coz france and england below performance. Much much surprises in this WC than anyone expected. The most shocking one, even compare to 2002. We will get tougher test. Hope we can break the quartel final curse. First, we must beat mexico.

    Hi 1 all,
its disturbing 2 c every1 wants 2 avoid england but if u ask me we willb comfortable against England rather than Germany. Its not that we can't defeat Germany we can ,we r going 2 b world beaters and hence we should win against any1 that comeby but it will be rather harder since attack with fluency.England doesn't look half what d english media make out!!!
I hope Maradona take a cue from Mr.Mourinho to use defenders to the maximum, its one area that v have gona improve!!!

    Vamos Arg!!!!
We will lift d trophy once again!!!

    Nikhil (India)

Ok guys, Please stop talking about England and Germany! We haven't beaten Mexico yet and there is no guarantee that we will, so let's not get ahead of ourselves!!

referee for argentina - mexico is the italian Roberto Rosetti. better than an english or german referee for sure.

  43. Mexico has the fastest player in the tournament until now in Javi Hernandez (at least according to that Castrol world cup page). So they are going to be brutally fast; have good strikers and a decent defence. It will be a big test. I think we can win them but they might burn out our players by dragging the game to extra time as I am not sure if our defence will keep a clean sheet. Goddamn, I am being too hard on them but seriously if Diego really calls Mou; I hope Mou have said what we all are saying; can you please somehow improve our defence and not play veron for the full 90 minutes. That just looks like common sense to me. We are in a hard path but if we can make it; we will be the greatest ever world cup winners, that's for sure.

    Vamos Argentina

  44. Watching Mexico some, I have been impressed by Carlos Salcido, their left back. Good defensively and gets up the pitch to create problems. I expect he will see alot of Messi.
