I was hoping I could get some feedback from all the albiceleste fans on this site....I have been watching lots of youtube videos lately of our games, and it seems like Demichelis always screws up in crucial moments, examples, the game against Spain, CL finale, I can go on, but was wondering what you guys think. I know that people get on Heinze, but in my view, Demichelis makes me nervous and I really do not want him anywhere near the pitch. Thoughts, comments? I would rather have Burdisso.

A correction concerning Afolabi. His Club is Salzburg, which is in Austria (AUT) not Australia (AUS).

  6. Demichelis can be a solid CB and work well with Samuel but he is very inconsistent. He often has off games where he slips up. He was terrible in the CL final. Let's just hope he can be consistent within the next month or so.

GK did it ever cross your mind demi cannot do more than one mans job he was constantly covering the other 3 out of possission he chased milito into the box for first goal because his partner fucked up he was left alone moments later again vs milito trying to defend his own penalty box on his lonesume again the second goal it was not demi turned inside out and dribbled past it was the other center back there was nothing demi could do to stop that goal unless he dived in and punched it way red card
he looked upset and down and out at times WHY because he cannot defend as a back 4 all on his own its his parnter that consistently fucks up and demi is left flaping his arms and downing his head in embarresment NON OF THE GOALS WERE HIS FAULT

    Anonymous,
I started this thread. Please refrain from swearing. You do not need to swear to make your point. The first goal in the CL was a pass to Milito in which Demichelis failed to stop Milito..plain and simple Milito beat him to the ball. Demichelis is slow. The Spain game he had a handball at the 86th minute. Had he not had the handball the game would have been a draw. Both Spain forwards were clearly offsides. Again, my point in starting this thread is to get people's opinion. I am sure his play will improve next to Samuel, but we have better options if he does not improve. You simply cannot concede big goals on a high level of competition, and look at the bayern munich threads about him and this is a pattern with Demichelis. I hope you are correct, but his history shows otherwise.

  9. Hi to all of Los Albiceleste fans across d world,
and a special thanks to d creator of this blog.
Abt startin Demichellis,I wld prefer demi can play in group stage and can be analysed by Maradona whether or not to keep him away!!!.
Well guys I wld request u all to comment on which of our players apart from Messi will be star of the tournament

  10. Dan I fully agree with you. I have always felt that Demi is more of a defensive midfielder than a frank center back. Burdisso may be the better choice among the available options, to partner Samuel. I think Demi is a better defensive midfielder than Bolatti. Demi should be used as a substitute for Masche or as a second defensive midfielder whenever required. Jonas should start as right back with Otamendi the sub for that position. About left back I still miss Zanetti
