Former Argentina captain, Juan Pablo SORIN celebrates his 33rd birthday today! He was our captain at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and also took part in the 2002 World Cup, 1999 Copa America, 2004 Copa America and 2005 Confederations Cup. SORIN's only success was at youth level with the Albiceleste when he won the U-20 World Cup with one Jose PEKERMAN as manager. Ever since he's retired, our left back position has been a joke. SORIN made that left back position his and was absolutely energitic, constantly helping out in attack and running back down to defend. I swear, he had 3 lungs.
Anyone who has ever watched SORIN knows that he gave it his all for the Albiceleste shirt and is personally one of my favourite players of all time. Happy Birthday Juampi!

Happy birthday Pablo Sorin.
this guy was a joke in defence! but i agree he is our best left back in years, this just shows you how much we suck in that area.
how sorin allowed germany to equalize in 2006 still hurts deep down!
Mohd, better remember his excellent pass to Maxi in extra time with Mexico
