The European club season comes to an end this week-end with two titles in major leagues yet to be decided. In Spain, Lionel MESSI and Gabriel MILITO can win La Liga with Barcelona as they host Real Valladolid at the Camp Nou. In second place in Spain is Real Madrid with Gonzalo HIGUAIN and Fernando GAGO. Barcelona is currently in first place with 96 points and Real Madrid right behind them in second place with 95 points.
In Italy, it's Inter Milan with Javier ZANETTI, Esteban CAMBIASSO, Walter SAMUEL and Diego MILITO who can win Serie A as they take on already relegated Siena away from home. Nicolas BURDISSO along with Roma will take on Chievo, also away from home. It's a 2 point gap in Italy, as current champions Inter are at 79 points and Rome with 77 points.

All credit of Forlan's game winner in extra time needs to go to Kun. It was midway through the second half of extra time and Kun chased down the ball and showed incredible hustle before crossing it in to Forlan. I was amazed by his speed and hustle after running around for over 110 minutes. He really showed he wanted that trophy and he earned it.
Congrats Kun and Salvio!
Ever notice how Forlan loves to rip that shirt off ? 6 pack abs Forlan.
GUT SO MUCH BELIEF IN THAT KID KUN
HE HAS SOMETHING MESSI LACKS THAT ABILLITY TO TURN A GAME IN A MOMENT AND GO BY PLAYERS WITH OUT REQUIRING PACE TO DO IT HE CAN WALK PAST DEFENDERS AT TIMES AND TURNS NOTHING INTO MOMENT OF PLAYMAKER GENIUS
THE KID WILL COME GOOD GIVE HIM TIME A POSSIBLE WC STAR
WERE MESSI FLYS ROUND LIKE A MAD JACK RUSSEL TERRIER KUN OPERATES LIKE MR COOL HE WAS MAGICAL AGAINST RUSSIA HIS PLAYMAKING AND VISION IS MORE HOW CAN I PUT IT CLASSY THAN MESSI
BUT MESSI IS SIMPLY THE BEST IM NOT SAYING OTHER WHYS JUST SAYING KUN CAN BE UP THERE
what i like about messi , kun, tevez is they all can be ortaga or batistuta its a great blend of ability they have, i think maradona sees these forwards as the wc stars pastore behind them could be amassing
Poor Salvio, he missed a clear goal near the end, would have been a good chance to get more time on the field. The last two matches, he played no more than ten minutes.
I'm happy to see Agüero a bit stronger than I usually remember him. I saw him go between two or three players nearly hugging him. Great Kun, that's what I want!
Lucky assist for Kun in the first goal (it was a terrible attempt to shoot on goal and it ended up finding FORLAN), but absolutely amazing stuff from AGÜERO in the second assist. If you watch carefully, he even lifts his arm to indicate FORLAN where will he place that pass.
And CAPS GUY...how do you expect us to respect your last message? It's just your opinion. If you don't value opinions, then come up with facts instead of opinions. It's only logical.
So you say Kun can get past players without requiring pace and he can change a game in a moment and you say MESSI lacks that ability?
Hmmm...unless you give us some indisputable FACTS about what you're saying, there's no way I can take you seriously.
And I take it you CAN'T bring us those FACTS.
If MESSI can't get past a defender without using his pace and if he can't change a game in a moment...my question is...are you sure you ever watched MESSI play?
Have you seen him cutting inside being absolutely still (no pace on display whatsoever)? Have you seen him doing that? He did it several times (vs. Zaragoza -the day he scored a hat-trick is just an example-) and I don't think I can count with all my fingers how many times he changed a game in a split second.

seba> you have to recognize though the hunger Kun showed was rather impressive. In Maradona's idea of game, i think Kun will fit better than Messi.
msi2: Of course I recognise that! I said it on my first paragraph in my previous comment.
Unfortunately I couldn't watch the game. Just the highlights.
But I do recognise Kun as a great talent. No question about it.
I still think he is far from reaching his ceiling and in order to do that, he needs to play more as part of a team rather than trying to be a one-man show all the time.
He did play for the team (at least in that final play -which was what I could see from the highlights-) and that's encouraging.
I want more of that from him.
