He scores with his left, he scores with his right, he scores with his head, he even scores with his hand... and now he scores off free kicks! This isn't MESSI's first goal off a free kick(his previous was versus Atletico Madrid last season, but the goalkeeper wasn't ready and it was an open net), but it's a beauty. With the score tied at 1-1 and with less than 10 minutes to play, MESSI was fouled outside of the Dynamo Kiev box. And then this happened...
He's been working on his set pieces and most of the time he comes close, but never really lands it. This time, however, what a goal. On a side note, I love the look on Pep GUARDIOLA's face near the end of the video. Here's to hoping he can score free kicks while playing for Argentina!
pep should have taken him out after the goal, hope he is not seriously injured.

ReplyDeleteHe is a major doubt for the derby game on saturday. It would be terrible if he missed the club world cup now.....
ReplyDeleteyeah i am travelling to abu dhabi to see him play there. It would be terrible if he's not there.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it is a good thing he can take a few weeks off or so, we do not want him to have played over 50 games before the WC. Think about it. We can not have him burned out. But if I were a betting man, I would bet he will be playing in the WCC.
