Argentine's in the Champions League

To pick up where Seba left off in his last update, here's the list of Argentine players who will play in the UEFA Champions League this season.

By far FC Porto has the most Argentine players with 6 players on the team. Some key battles will be DEMICHELIS trying to stop CAVENAGHI from scoring, HEINZE facing his old team in Real Madrid, MAXI's Atletico Madrid will take on the team that eliminated them last season in FC Porto. As well as Argentina's captain, Javier MASCHERANO trying to stop Lyon's Lisandro LOPEZ. On a personal note, I'm looking to see how UEFA Player of the Year Lionel MESSI does against Il Capitano, Javier ZANETTI and company. U-20 World Cup and 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist Sergio ROMERO will get tested against the best Europe has to offer. Who knows, maybe playing in the Champions League will further his chances of starting with the National Team?
