Pipita’s Double Saves Real Again

Real Madrid took on Getafe with an aim to get within three points of Barcelona. For all their misfortune throughout the season (injuries to key players, change of managers etc.) Gonzalo HIGUAIN was always there to save them when it matter the most.

And he did it again, not once but twice; first, muscling aside Cata DIAZ before rounding Vladimir STOJKOVIC and slotting home. The second; a brilliant 20-yard finish in the last minute.

With these two goals, Pipita has taken his tally in La Liga to 16 goals in 27 appearances. If that is not a statement, then what it is? Diego I hope you’re watching this.

  1. Now Higuain should definitely be on Maradona's cards and in the starting line up , if not? then i believe he deserves to play for France instead just like Trezeguet.

  2. I agree. That was great stuff from Higuain yesterday. I'm convinced now. After that, if Higuain doesn't get called up, then we know that there is something rotten in Denmark.:)

I agree, if he does not get called up in the next wcq's if I were him I would jump ship. Maradona will be a DAMN fool if he does not take Higuain to the WC. Maybe some of the players are bitter at him because of him not choosing a country to play for a couple years ago, but you know what I have said it before if this team wants to win a WC they need that striker. From a coaching point of view Maradona is playing favorites and it is clear as day. You put Messi and Aguero on the wings and put Higuain in the center. Higuain has outplayed Aguero this season in every possible way. Higuain is one the top players in La Liga Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Eto are the only players I would put in front of him.

Zarate scores a great goal for Lazio. Pipita and Zarate maybe sending a message to Maradona.
