HIGUAÍN to the rescue with a super goal!

With the International break officialy over, one Albiceleste player certainly made a case for an International Call-Up...

Real Madrid travelled to Malaga in what was a difficult match for Los Blancos. Fernando GAGO and Gonzalo HIGUAÍN played the full 90 minutes for Real Madrid as one set up the other for the game winner. GAGO passed the ball to HIGUAÍN who ran half the length of the pitch and scored in the 49th minute to give Real Madrid the 3 points.

Pablo PIATTI scored the second goal for Almeria as they defeated GONZALO's Villarreal 3-0 at home.

Sadly, those are the only 2 Albicelestes to score on Saturday. Here's to hoping for more goals on Sunday!

  2. What a goal from Pipita! Maybe we should start the "GIVE PIPITA A CALL" petition to Diego.

Thanks Akash, as always updating us on the Albiceleste even as far as those in Slovenia and Slovakia.

can higuain still play for france, considering he cant get a sniff for a call to NT, with players who for the most part don't deserve their place: aguero, the guy at newcastle, tevez (runs around like a headless chicken a poor man's dirk kuyt- never thought that could be possible)

  4. i just still don't get it why higuain never gets his chance , he certainly is better than denis , and lavezzi and i just want him to get his chances bcoz we don't want to be missing out on him in wc 2010 , i also don't want argentina to lose him as we also lost trezeguet and camoranesi who could have been very important for us , please maradona give higuain his chanceS

He is the closest to Batigol out of all the strikers since the great el Rey Leon.

  7. So far, German DENIS came to the rescue for Napoli scoring a last minute equalizer against Sampdoria away.

To be person who asked if he can still play for France, I think he can but he already played for Argentina a year back or so vs Guatemala(I was there in person, saw him score 2 goals), but I do not think it was dubbed as an "A" national game. Diego said not to long ago, players should play for countries that they were born in, does that mean he does not want Pipita? + Pipita has been trying to get his duel citizenship from Argentina not sure if he has got it yet, maybe Seba can fill us in on that. But I do not think he will jump ship, he turned them down last year and stated he wanted to play for Argentina. As for the person that said he is closest thing to Batigol, hmmm well Pipita is still very young and very good but there will only be 1 Batigol. Maybe just maybe he can replace Crespo who I would LOVE to see back on the team. Hell a 34 year old Crespo is better then Denis, I will tell you that much. But if Zanetti who will run more then Crespo can get calls up why not Crespo. We may see " The Curious Case Of Hernan Crespo" lol. But he needs more playing time, and needs to move out, and go to Spain or even come back to River Plate. Something is in the water in Argentina, just asK Veron. To conclude this message, I thing ALL of us can agree and say time to call up Pipita!

    Jack!

  12. Yes, why not-Pipita. But, also Jose "Pepe" Sand. Four more goals yesterday. All he does is score. Lethal and cold blooded.
