And here he does the unexpected...

  1. Well, since we won't have Roman taking up those set piece duties, maybe this guy can provide something for us. Provided is he plays that is.

  2. I was just thinking the same thing John!

Carrizo is on the bench this week, once again. He really needs some playing time.

In other news, Jose Sosa scored the only goal for Bayern Munich today against Karlsruhe. He's finally starting to get some minutes and he's playing very well.

  3. More goals from Saturday’s fixture….

In France, Olympic Marseille defeated Nantes 2-0 and went to the top of the table temporary. Renato CIVELLI was on target for them.

In Turkey, Franco CANGELE was on target for Kayserispor in their 2-0 win over Ankaragucu while Gustavo COLMAN scored a consolation for Trabzonspor in their 1-4 loss to Gaziantepspor.

In Belgium, Matias SUAREZ sealed a win for Anderlecht with a goal in the last minute as they defeated Germinal Beerschot 2-0.

Woah! Nice FK. You've said it John since there's no more Roman.

And I saw Forlin in the match Boca vs Argentinos. He's quite good. But I don't think he'll get to play. It's good that Maradona sees the potential and called him up.

  5. OFF TOPIC !! We can expect to see alot of Carlitos what with Rooney likely to be suspended for at least two matches, and Berbatov is out injured for minimum two weeks. BUT, will Ferguson's problem interfere with Carlitos playing for the NT ? Hmmm....

  6. You're right Johnny. Fergie will need Carlitos to deliver for now.
