It's in the news in Spain. It's in the news in Argentina. There's a chance Lionel MESSI and Gabriel MILITO will be joined by another Argentine at Barcelona. Rodrigo PALACIO, Boca Juniors' speed demon, is reportedly going to the Catalan giants in exchange of 17 million Euros.
We'll wait and see if this is just a rumour or if he will effectively be going to Barcelona.
For those Albiceleste Barcelona fans who maybe don't know much about PALACIO, who played in the last World Cup for Argentina, here are a few things he is capable of doing.

Wouldn't it be great to see him alongside MESSI. I certainly believe any Barca would agree with me on that.

I too hope Palacio ends up in Barcelona. It goes without saying that we don't want him at Chelsea ! Being a big Boca fan I have watched Palacio alot the past two plus years and while not a great finisher, he can cause alot of problems for the opposition with his speed. It would be nice to have another local guy to pull for on Barcelona's squad.

ReplyDeleteLucho is another player that was linked to Barcelona. The reports I read said he was going to the Camp Nou to replace Deco (even though I'm not sure they play exactly the same position).

Goal.com reports today that Palacio to Barcelona is far from a done deal and that Sevilla is in the mix, as well as Lazio and Lyon.
