Forza Pupi!!! Forza Inter!!!

We have already inaugurated Kings in Portugal, Spain, Germany & England and now we can say we also have one in Italy.

In 2006, many people would say they won through a match fixing investigation, in 2007 perhaps some would say, they had it too easy. So what about 2008?

So I supposed it is high time that everyone starts to acknowledge that Inter Milan are true legitimate champions of Italy, for third consecutive time in a row. Inter defeated Parma 2-0 on the last day of the season to clinch their
Certainly one player in that team deserve more than ever is Captain Marvel Javier ZANETTI. After all these years, he gave everything he had on the field but the major honours were far beyond reachable.

Now he can proudly claim himself as an owner of three Scudetto titles for the same club he has stood loyal for the past 13 years.
Also not to forget Julio CRUZ, whose goals this season proves to be equally important in Inter title defends quest. He finished off the season with 18 goals in all competition.

Well done to all the other Albiceleste army in the Nerazzurri squad, Nicolas BURDISSO, Hernan CRESPO, Santiago SOLARI, Walter SAMUEL & Esteban CAMBIASSO.

Another good news is that Mario SANTANA & Fiorentina have made it to the Champions League next season.

Meanwhile in the season finale in Spain, despite losing to Valencia 3-1, we can safely say that Kun AGUERO, Maxi & Gang will play in the Champions League. Kun scored the consolation goal for Atletico.

But on a sad note, Real Zaragoza has been relegated into the Spanish second division after losing to Real Mallorca 3-2. It will be interesting to see in the next few months where does the future lies for Roberto AYALA, Pablo AIMAR and Diego MILITO. Everyone knows that these guys are not meant for second tier football.

Nice blog Mundo. As an Italian i have a soft spot for Argentina also.My grandfather lived in Buenos for many years. And i know the Italian population is very large. So i feel an affinity for the likes of Zanetti,Crespo,Passarella,Messi,Saviola anyway its an amazing football nation. I think 2010 is between Argentina,Spain with Brazil,France maybe and African nation. After that maybe Italy,Germany.

  3. Two notes of interest-apparently Real Madrid have, or will, sign Ezequiel Garay. Also I saw where the Liverpool fans, in honor of Mascherano's stature, despite his small size, now refer to him as "Monster Masche". Good one !

Hola, me gustó bastante tu blog. Es muy positivo que los sudamericanos se reafirmen en sus equipos. Esperemos que en la próxima campaña europea el Inter no decepcione.

  8. Thanks for all the positive comments for Mundo Albiceleste!

I have to say that I'm really happy to see Inter winning yet another scudetto, especially for Il Capitano Javier ZANETTI! He completely deserves it and, as John said in the article, nobody can downplay their achievement now. All the big fishes were in the pond and no points deduction or political decisions have interfere with the Serie A this season.
