Have you guys read this on Wiki. I found it quite funny about Messi's hand of god2 goal. haha I know it will get taken down soon but read.

    Hand of God: Edition two
On June 9 Messi scored a goal using his hand (illegally) against Espanyol[33]. Real Madrid's coach Fabio Capello was angered by Messi's goal and said that the referee should have seen that he hit the ball with his hand and that as a cheating Argentinian he should have been dragged out into the street and shot in his nuts with a high powered rifle so he can't create any more cheating footballers. Messi said in a press conference after the game: "It was a brilliant goal, Maradona would have been proud, as for my Professor in my 'How to Cheat at Football' Class, he came in his pants with excitment!! As for Capello, Come and take your best shot!! Opps you can't because you are an Unemployed Bum and can't afford bullets!!", but he celebrated the goal because he was happy to level out the game[citation needed].

The similarities to the goal famously scored by Maradona, were also apriciated by Maradona himself, he also mentioned the goal Messi scored past Gefete in the Copa Dey Rey.

  26. VAMOS ARGENTINA!

    Sixth Youth World title!

    NICE!

    Great posts guys!

I managed to watch the whole second half! Great way to turn the game around.

BANEGA was my man of the match. Pure class. True Argie style. He goes for the sliding tackle and then he dribbles you in a blink of an eye or gives AGÜERO the perfect assist.

    Sensational!

The only team to win 6 FIFA World titles in a category.

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Something to celebrate..We would have beaten brazilian with this kind of play.Never give up and if they tackle you, dont be afraid to tackle them to but more important just concentrate on ure game. The goal scored by czech was either pure masterclass or total luck.Even their coach seemed unwary at first.well guys i watched all the match and the celebration.Never saw them celebrate and it is 3:40am in the morn and m feeling like not sleeping as if i were the winner...yup this is our 6th now...its time for world cup...this was the first time i saw banega play and man i just wondered if we could play him and riquelme in some games...their passes will destroy all the best team in the world and banega is fast too n he is strong also...soo now we must win the world cup..no excuses and no loose saying this is just a game...well next world cup it wont be anymore....the respect of the world for argentine way of football...which is no doubt the real way of this beautiful game is at stake...and we need to prove it...
To be true when the guys played alot fouls in the first half i felt like yuck....coommmon thts not us...tht is some other 'win-always-no-matter-how' team but the 2nd half proved the way of argentine football n m celebrating it with El Kun...yupeeeeee......
    VAMOS ARGENTINA

  29. Yay!

Thank God for the U20s. And how great it is to finally surpass Brazil as the country to win most WYCs.

  30. And before I forget, good for Aguero! Following in the footsteps of Maradona, Saviola and Messi by sweeping both the top scorer and the Golden Ball awards. I'm so proud of him.

  31. Linda...you are wrong! We haven't "just surpassed" Brazil. We've got 6 Youth Titles, Brazil have 4. :)

Whenever I have some time to write, I would like to share with you a theory that I have (it is more an explanation than a theory) about the U20 and why do we win almost every Youth World Cup since 95 and we can't do the same amongst the grown-ups.

    Very very easy to explain.

    Seba

Part of the problem is ARG's players are shorter and not as physical as the taller players... the older a player is, the more contact his body will have to absorb. When one is small, he has to take a constant beating from the bigger player. I always feel nervous whn opponent has corner kick or free kick against ARG because of our height's disadvantage.
Morales is an excellent ball player, but I doubt if he'll be able to match the physical aspect of the game at the next level.
Zarate save the day today, but he is too selfish to become a great player... the boy need to learn how to share as one man can't win the game, it's team sport.

    ReplyDelete
  34. height isn't always a good thing, tall players are less agile also.

I think one of the main reasons how Czech was able to go so far this tournament was that they didn't have to play against any African team. Eastern european teams are even worse against Africans than South Americans. In fact, we played sort of like African teams against them in final and kicked their ass.
