El conejito blanco

As announced a couple of months ago, when Mundo Albiceleste was still Vamos Argentina, Javier SAVIOLA was finally presented at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium as a new Real Madrid player.

The Little Rabbit, unhappy for not being part of the Copa America squad, now has some reasons to smile, after signing a 4-year contract, with the White Empire.

  3. Roman playing for Madrid?

    What are you on, Rio?

    Did you mean: HIGUAÍN?

Or do you know something we don't know?

I honestly think he'll have a difficult time receiving more playing time, which saddens me!

Real Madrid strikers at the moment: van Nistelrooy, Raul, Robinho, Higuaín, Soldado, and him.

Or, maybe Real Madrid will do the opposite of Barcelona to prove a point!

I guess we'll have to wait and see. :)

There has been a rumour about Roman going to Real, given that Real do lack a midfield general. But that remains a rumour.

I hope Saviola gets some goals and get back into the national squad soon.

maybe, he meant it as, atleti madrid getting roman... ever thought of that.

  8. nah, real madrid
i doubt roman will ever consider atletico seriously.

i quoted ppl on the forums, but the rumor doesn't stop with marca's report.

  9. Makes perfect sense to me. I think Madrid and RIQUELME could be a great match.

In a way, Roman have some of the skills ZIDANE used to seduce the Bernabeu crowd.

It could also mean that Roman gets to prove himself worthy of a place in a huge team in Europe after his unsuccesful spell at Barça.

Maybe, by proving himself at Madrid, he can also show the Catalan giants what he can do in La Liga.

  10. but the issue here seba
is how should we react to this.

i guess we can ignore it as far as the contract isn't signed. If the deal goes through, then start thinking of excuses to root for roman...

  11. Yes, I've read about ROMAN's move to REAL. But as what Rio says, it is just rumours and we do not know how far this is true.

But then again Rio, the only excuse that I need to support any team in this world, is simple.....just signed an ALBICELESTE player...|-)

  12. God, Seba, warn a person before you post a photo like that.

Ah well, I say nothing about El Conejo. Hopefully Roman won't go to Real - the press there is worse than in Barcelona or Argentina, and I can't see how he could stay in a good enough frame of mind to play his football.

The Real Madrid rumour is just that...a rumour and the MARCA article basically states that Madristas are 'entertaining the idea'. There's nothing on AS about that-- and they're a Madrid-based news source.

He's linked more strongly to Atletico Madrid.

That said, let's see what happens.

robinho recently said hed love to have a roman by his side in brazil, dont remember where i read this. so if hed like a player like roman in the copa america, why not real madrid. still though that real midfield is crowded, actually that whole damn team is crowded. plus they say roman is going to atleti along with the now-official a.madrid forlan but who knows.

  15. roman wants fame. He wants titles, that's why he was happy playing for Boca eventhough they didn't use him every game and they really couldn't afford him long term.

atletico obviously has the money, but remember this isn't Forlan. He doesn't go to a team just because you can pay him :D

Right now, with Boca he gets the CWC, and re-copa? Nothing compared to what real madrid could offer him. CL football and a team with extrodinary players structured around him.

Do not forget who real madrid's new manager is... I've always hated the blancos. But if it takes them to get Roman the prestige he deserved, i'll root for them.

OK, I always watch the Spanish la liga, Always hated Recard for not making Saviola play, I just hated him for that.

Now I am an official Real Madrid Fan Once I read this article, I hope He gets a fair chance there. I love this player he is simply wonderful.
