Carlos TEVEZ:
His team, West Ham United, have managed to get all three points against high-flying Everton. That result, combined with Wigan loss against Liverpool and a draw between Charlton Athletic and Sheffield United gave the Hammers a little bit of hope to face the final three games of the season.
They stand 3 points behind salvation and they'll be visiting Wigan next week. A win and they will reach the Latics position in the table and they'll certainly look to carry on with that momentum. But they've got to win first.
Lionel MESSI:
Imagination. Creativity. But most of all, passion! That's what I can say after hearing about a crazy idea from a Napoli supporter. He wants to have 3 million Napoli supporters to pledge 35 euros each, in order to raise more than 100 million euros and buy Lionel MESSI with that money. They clearly have fresh in their minds what Diego MARADONA did at the San Paolo Stadium and they don't want to miss on the chance of bringing in his natural born successor.
Andrés NOCIONI:
The Chicago Bulls started their NBA playoffs campaign with a tight win over the defending champions Miami Heat. Chapu scored two crucial free throws in the dying seconds of the game to help his team make sure of a 96-91 victory to take the first round series to a score of 1-0.
The Argentine played 30 minutes, scored 17 points (6-15 from the floor with 2 three-pointers), he grabbed 4 rebounds and had 2 assists and 2 blocked shots.

Napoli really wants to sign Messi? That's quite amazing... but Diego is Diego, I doubt Messi can recreate what Diego achieved there somehow... I think Napoli needs more than Messi to win the scudetto. Maybe they should sign Saviola as well. But it really would be great to see Messi wearing the No. 10 at the San Paolo.
ReplyDeleteAnd one in the bag for the Detroit PISTONS as they beat the Orlando MAGIC 100-92, with 9 points coming from Carlos DELFINO
