MARADONA named four Estudiantes de La Plata players yesterday and 40 minutes later he had to change those names and call up four different footballers.
A day after he announced the list, he realized Juan Pablo PEREYRA (Atlético Tucumán) was injured and so he decided to call up Claudio BIELER.
BIELER becomes the fourth Racing Club player on this list of 18 (he joins Gabriel MERCADO, Lucas LICHT and Gabriel HAUCHE) and more importantly, he becomes the 102th player that MARADONA called up since he took over as Argentina manager in October, 2008.
What kind of a player is BIELER? A very good one! A strong striker with great off-the-ball movement and a knack for scoring. He won the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana with Liga de Quito of Ecuador.
But I guess you all know that's not the point.
Can this get any more ridiculous?

Didn't BIELER claimed that he would fancy his chances with Ecuador?
I hope he does because certainly after winning a cap for this match, does he really has in any future with the Argentina NT. Don't get me wrong here, but he has to reasonable if he dreams of playing in the World Cup.
